The Krauterhaus Sanct Bernhard Green-lipped Mussel Balm is a carefully formulated topical balm designed to support skin comfort and well-being through a rich blend of natural extracts and nourishing ingredients. At the heart of this formula is Perna canaliculus extract — derived from the New Zealand green-lipped mussel — combined with a selection of premium botanical oils including jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis), avocado (Persea gratissima), maize germ (Zea mays), sunflower (Helianthus annuus), and wheat germ (Triticum vulgare) oils to help moisturise and condition the skin.

The balm is further enriched with honey (Mel), urea, sodium lactate and sodium PCA — well-known humectant ingredients — alongside vitamin E (tocopherol), vitamin A (retinyl palmitate), and niacinamide to help support the skin’s natural appearance. Menthol and wintergreen leaf oil (Gaultheria procumbens) provide a refreshing, cooling sensation upon application, while ethyl nicotinate supports a feeling of warmth and local skin circulation. Boswellia (Boswellia carterii) essential oil rounds off the formula with its distinctive aromatic character.
